24fps international short film festival

November 1-2, 2024

Abilene's own International Film Festival, the 25th and final edition.

The mission of 24fps is to celebrate and encourage student and independent filmmakers. Festival public screening programs are designed to highlight the creator as much as the work itself. All exhibited films are introduced by a commentator, and filmmakers in attendance are given the opportunity to speak to the festival audiences at the close of their film’s exhibition


SEAN MCCONNELL IN CONCERT

Singer, songwriter and producer Sean McConnell’s latest collection of songs, A Horrible Beautiful Dream approaches the difficult task of asking questions of what one really thinks they know, in the simultaneous struggle of not being afraid of the answers that emerge.

The Historic Paramount Theatre, Inc., is a 501 c-3 non profit corporation dedicated to the task of preserving and maintaining the landmark. Our mission statement, written in our bylaws: To preserve this unique historic landmark and enrich the community through its use.

We create our own diversified programming that engages and encourages the widest scope of patrons in Abilene. The non-profit is equally dedicated to mission of making the facility available for usage by the largest number of individuals, groups, arts organizations, businesses, and corporations possible.
