The Paramount is rented to non-profit organizations, private individuals, and for-profit organizations based on three separate rate schedules. Non-profit organizations who have 501(c)(3) certification with the government are eligible for a significantly discounted rate.

Throughout the year, we are pleased to work with promoters, businesses, corporations, and other nonprofit organizations to present events in the landmark theatre. The Paramount is traditional theatre seating, and includes an ornate lobby and mezzanine, 1,187 seat auditorium/balcony, and state-of-the-art sound, lighting and digital projection. The facility is available for hosting a variety of events, including:

In keeping with our core mission, the theatre is home to a wide range of local and regional arts and educational organizations, including Abilene Ballet Theatre, the Abilene Opera Association, the Abilene Community Band, the Celebration Singers, and the 24fps International Short Film Festival.

GIFT CARDS

Gift cards are a fun way to give the excitement of theatre and film to someone you care about. The Paramount’s diverse programming includes our Film Series as well as presentations of live theatre as Paramount Productions. Gift cards can be loaded for any amount and are redeemable for Paramount events at the theatre. (Please note: the gift card is not valid for a rental event).

PARAMOUNT MOVIE VALUE CARD

This multi-use ticket is good for 12 admissions to any film on our Paramount Film Series. The card represents a significant discount over the the regular box office price. The card is good for one year from the date of purchase.

If you are charging admission to your event or controlling attendance by issuing any type of ticket, the Paramount Theatre now offers full service Box Office operations & ticketing. Should the Lessee choose to utilize this service, they must submit a completed Box Office Services Form to The Paramount Theatre. Box Office Services include:

Ticketing through the Paramount Theatre online ticketing portal
Online back office access granted to Lessee to view ticket sales
Event listing on Paramount Theatre online calendar
One Constant Contact email distributed to our email list of over 13,000 patrons
One Facebook Post on the Paramount Theatre verified Facebook page (15,000+ followers)
1 Box Office cashier and 1 ticket-taker
Ticketing fees and remaining rental balance will be subtracted from final ticket sales. The Paramount will make a settlement check of the difference to Lessee available, or in the mail, within 5 business days following the conclusion of event.

No refunds. We reserve the right to exchange tickets.
Events are subject to time and date change.
The Paramount is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.
A ticket is a revocable license that may be revoked at any time for any reason.
The resale or attempted resale of a ticket at a higher price is strictly prohibited.
No outside food or beverages allowed.
The Paramount enforces the concealed carry mandate for licensed firearms. Open carry at any event is not allowed.
N0 weapons, except licensed firearms, are allowed.
No cameras or recording devices are allowed without the strict permission of the Paramount staff or our rental partners.
