CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE
We want patrons to feel welcome and to have a fun and safe experience at the Theatre. Please see below the safeguards and limits we are following to ensure that both patrons and staff are as protected as possible during this transitional period (updated 02/25/2022).
Safety Measures
To allow for proper social distancing, Paramount staff will be closely monitoring the number of patrons in and out of the theatre.
Employees and volunteers will follow all CDC recommendations and guidelines for monitoring health and safety of our staff and patrons.
Regular cleaning and disinfecting of frequently touched surfaces will occur frequently for all public spaces: lobby, mezzanine, auditorium, restrooms, stairwell railings, doors, armrests, etc..
Hand sanitizer, soap and water, and disposable face masks will be readily available to employees, volunteers, and patrons.
Tickets will be available to purchase online or at the exterior Box Office.
Movie Value Card expiration dates will be extended by six (6) months.
How you can help
Please purchase tickets ahead of time.
Please arrive early and allow extra time to enter the theatre, purchase concessions, and be seated.
If you have any new or worsening signs or symptoms of possible COVID-19, please stay home.
We appreciate your understanding of these necessary changes to Theatre procedures and ask for your continued patience and support during these unusual times. We are excited to be able to welcome back the Abilene community while maintaining high safety standards.
Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public place or area of assembly. By visiting The Paramount Abilene, you assume all risks associated with exposure to COVID-19 and acknowledge that the Theatre cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed.
